M3U Checker FAQ
What does an M3U checker do?
It analyzes your IPTV playlist and reports how many channels it contains, how they're split across groups, how many duplicate entries exist, and how many #EXTINF lines are missing a stream URL. It's a quick way to sanity-check a playlist before loading it into your player.
How do I check how many channels are in my M3U?
Upload your .m3u file or paste its contents into the tool. It instantly counts the total channels, lists every group with its channel count, and flags duplicates — all in your browser, with nothing uploaded.
Does the M3U checker test if streams are online?
This browser-side checker analyzes the playlist's structure (channels, groups, duplicates, missing URLs). It does not play each stream, because browsers block direct access to most IPTV servers for security. To verify playback, load the playlist in a player like VLC or TiviMate.
